Job Title: Associate Engineering Technician
Location: Overland Park, KS (Onsite)
Job Summary:
Join our team as an Associate Engineering Technician, where you’ll support engineering projects by utilizing digital tools and design software. You’ll assist in creating and maintaining technical documentation and drawings, contributing to the efficiency and improvement of engineering processes.
Job Responsibilities:
• Provide technical support to engineering teams using CAD, BIM, and 3D modeling tools.
• Assist in creating, modifying, and maintaining technical documentation and project deliverables.
• Participate in evaluating methods to enhance deliverable development and design activities.
• Draft electrical substation schematics, wiring, and site layouts.
• Coordinate with other project groups to ensure accuracy and minimize errors.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and change management efforts.
Skills Required:
• Proficiency in AutoDesk AutoCAD; experience with Bentley Microstation is a plus.
• Understanding of engineering principles and practices.
• Ability to perform minor computations and dimensional checks.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Knowledge of document control and quality assurance standards.
• Eagerness to learn and apply new technologies and processes.
Education:
• Minimum of 1 year of related work experience.
