Job Title: Associate Engineering Technician
Location: Cary, North Carolina (On-site)
Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to support engineering teams in delivering high-quality technical deliverables focused on underground transmission line projects. Our team is dedicated to innovation and supporting continuous improvement through digital design solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Support engineering teams by creating, updating, and maintaining technical documentation using Autodesk Civil 3D and/or Bentley MicroStation.
- Develop plan and profile deliverables and perform basic computations such as material quantity estimates and dimensional checks.
- Coordinate deliverables with other project groups to minimize errors and ensure compliance with company standards and procedures.
- Maintain current knowledge of applicable quality programs, standards, and industry best practices while contributing to process improvement initiatives.
Experience/Minimum Requirements:
- Proficiency with Autodesk Civil 3D and/or Bentley MicroStation, including experience developing plan/profile and alignments.
- Minimum of 2 years of related work experience in an engineering or drafting environment.
- Diploma or Certificate required; Associate Degree in Drafting or Engineering Design Related Technology is preferred.
- Ability to complete all pre-employment onboarding requirements in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
