Job Title: Associate Engineering Technician
Location: Overland Park, Kansas (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are supporting the search for an Associate Engineering Technician to join a team delivering critical infrastructure design work for advanced power generation projects. This opportunity offers the chance to contribute to site development deliverables, collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams, and help produce high-quality engineering documentation that supports complex project execution.
Responsibilities:
- Support engineering teams under general supervision by performing technical tasks with intermediate knowledge of engineering principles and practices.
- Create and modify site development plans using industry-standard design tools, including Autodesk Civil 3D, Bentley MicroStation, and Bentley OpenPlant Modeler.
- Develop project deliverables based on design inputs, perform basic computations, and complete material quantity estimates and dimensional checks.
- Coordinate deliverables with other project groups, maintain technical documentation, and apply quality and document control practices to help reduce errors and interferences.
Required:
- Diploma or Certificate required.
- Associate Degree in Drafting or an Engineering Design Related Technology preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of related work experience.
- Ability to work within 50 miles of one of the listed office locations: Overland Park, KS; Ann Arbor, MI; Houston, TX; or Cary, NC.
