Job Title: Associate Lab Support Technician
Location: Thousand Oaks, California (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as a part of a dynamic lab environment. Our team focuses on providing essential support in managing animal husbandry-related tasks critical to the success of scientific research.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain animal husbandry equipment, ensuring quality sanitation and proper setup for research activities.
- Execute routine tasks including washing, autoclaving, and preparing caging and equipment.
- Provide comprehensive care and maintenance, conduct health checks, and ensure well-being of laboratory animals.
- Maintain organized, efficient laboratory spaces to support ongoing research efforts and scientific investigations.
Required:
- Associate degree or a high school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or relevant certification with 2 years of experience.
- Demonstrated ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds and consistent punctuality.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills with a desire to thrive in a collaborative team setting.
