Job Title: Associate Quality Control
Location: Holly Springs, North Carolina (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are supporting a company seeking an Associate Quality Control to help manage sample handling and laboratory workflow within a regulated quality control environment. This position plays an important part in maintaining accurate documentation, traceability, and efficient sample movement to support reliable testing activities.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, log, and track incoming samples in LIMS or other sample tracking systems.
- Maintain sample storage areas, inventory, and chain-of-custody documentation in line with SOPs and regulatory expectations.
- Coordinate sample distribution, pickups, deliveries, transfers, and communication with QC analysts, manufacturing, and external labs.
- Support documentation, reporting, audits, investigations, SOP review, and continuous improvement efforts related to sample management.
Required:
- Associate degree in a scientific discipline or equivalent experience.
- 0–3 years of experience in a laboratory or sample management role.
- Familiarity with LIMS or other sample tracking systems preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, communication skills, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, regulated environment and follow SOPs, documentation practices, PPE, and safety protocols.
- Experience in GMP or ISO-regulated environments, basic understanding of quality control testing workflows, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data management tools.
