Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts

We’re seeking a motivated Associate Scientist to join our team in South San Francisco. Job Summary:

  • As an Associate Scientist, you’ll be responsible for designing, conducting, analyzing, and reporting in vivo and in vitro studies. Your work will involve a range of techniques including tumor inoculation, dosing administration, cellular assays, and molecular biology techniques. Additionally, you’ll contribute to laboratory equipment maintenance, record-keeping, and active participation in cross-departmental meetings.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, conduct, analyze, and report in vivo and in vitro studies.
  • Perform in vivo techniques including tumor inoculation, dosing administration, and blood/tissue collection.
  • Conduct cellular assays and cell culture, including flow cytometry and molecular biology techniques.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment, ensure accurate record-keeping, and perform data analysis.
  • Actively participate in cross-departmental teams and meetings, and present findings.

Skills Required:

  • Proficiency in in vivo and in vitro study design, execution, and analysis.
  • Hands-on experience with tumor inoculation, dosing administration, and blood/tissue collection.
  • Expertise in cellular assays, including flow cytometry and molecular biology techniques.
  • Strong laboratory equipment operation and maintenance skills.
  • Excellent record-keeping and data analysis abilities.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills for cross-departmental collaboration.
  • Attention to detail, proactive attitude, and enthusiasm for learning and contributing to a productive team environment.
