Job Title: Associate Scientist
Location: South San Francisco, California (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are representing an opportunity for an Associate Scientist to support biomarker discovery using human samples in a highly collaborative laboratory environment. Our team is seeking a candidate who can contribute to high-quality, reproducible data generation, careful documentation, and strong experimental execution.
Responsibilities:
- Execute and analyze experiments with minimal supervision.
- Work with human samples, including PBMCs and whole blood, using established protocols.
- Generate, document, interpret, and communicate data while ensuring strong data quality.
- Optimize assays, troubleshoot experiments, and operate key lab platforms in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Required:
- BS in Biology, Immunology, Biochemistry, or a related field, plus 2 years of experience.
- Strong hands-on lab skills and experience working with human samples.
- Experience with flow cytometry, Luminex, ELISA, cell culture, RNA extraction, qPCR, and basic data analysis.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
