Position Overview:
- As a Bio-Process Associate, you will play a crucial role in our Biotechnology Pilot Plants, operating control systems and processes to ensure the smooth and efficient production of vital biotechnology products. This role offers the opportunity to work onsite during the 1st shift, contributing to groundbreaking research and development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate control systems and processes in Biotechnology Pilot Plants with precision and expertise.
- Prepare process buffers and reagents, maintaining impeccable cleanliness and organization.
- Proactively identify and report safety, maintenance, and operational variances to management.
- Maintain clear and effective communication regarding operation status and any potential issues.
- Follow detailed SOPs and batch records meticulously to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Uphold strict adherence to cGMP and safety requirements at all times.
- Record and monitor data, logging activities to facilitate efficient process management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma with a minimum of 5 years of process operations experience; A.A.S. or B.S. degree preferred.
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and keen attention to detail.
- Ability to follow written instructions diligently and accurately.
- Familiarity with general chemistry, mathematics, and microbiology is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to safety and compliance.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.
- Flexibility to work shifts and overtime as required.
