Job Title: Building Maintenance Technician
Location: Annandale, New Jersey (On-Site)
Shift: 7am-3:30pm
Job Summary: We are working with the company to present an opportunity for a hands-on professional who can support the safety, reliability, and day-to-day upkeep of building systems. We are seeking interest from candidates who can help keep operations running smoothly through responsive maintenance, strong communication, and careful attention to safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general building repair and maintenance tasks to support safe and efficient operations.
- Assist with minor plumbing repairs, equipment upkeep, and other facility-related maintenance duties.
- Use a computerized maintenance management work order system to open, complete, and close assigned work orders while maintaining accurate records.
- Support inspections, housekeeping, safety practices, and timely communication with the Lead Engineer.
Required:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Completion of an applicable technical training program is desirable.
- Minimum of one year of applicable working experience in general building repair and maintenance.
- General HVAC knowledge and general plumbing knowledge are a plus, along with strong mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 80 lbs., use ladders, walk stairs, bend, kneel, stoop, and work overhead as required.
- Possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license.
