Job Title: Business Analyst
Location: Farmers Branch, Texas (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to support process analysis, requirements gathering, testing, and release readiness for a collaborative home lending technology team. This position offers the opportunity to work across business, technology, vendor, and compliance partners to help improve system stability, streamline delivery, and support successful change implementation.
Responsibilities:
- Support current-state process research, documentation, and analysis while learning key business workflows and system functionality.
- Review release notes, assess business impacts, and help define testing needs for enhancements and vendor changes.
- Write user stories, acceptance criteria, test cases, and supporting documentation, then execute testing and document results.
- Facilitate discussions with stakeholders, coordinate with technology and vendor partners, and support demos, walkthroughs, and refinements.
Required:
- Business analysis fundamentals, including requirements gathering, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process documentation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret technical or vendor documentation and translate it into business impacts.
- Experience testing software applications and documenting results.
- Microsoft Excel proficiency.
- Experience with Microsoft Copilot, AI-assisted tools, or demonstrated interest in leveraging automation technologies.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience facilitating meetings with business and technology stakeholders.
