Location: Cape Canaveral, Florida (On-site)
Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated professional to manage and direct suppliers and teams supporting the external development of advanced spaceflight systems. Our team relies on this position to ensure that procurement activities are aligned with organizational priorities and deliver essential production materials on time, within budget, and to specification.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and direct suppliers and internal teams to support the external development of spaceflight systems and ensure organizational needs are met.
- Prepare and issue Requests for Proposal/Requests for Quote, perform price analyses, and develop negotiation strategies for major procurement activities.
- Own the end-to-end procurement process from requisition creation through final payment, resolving any issues within the process as they arise.
- Identify, implement, negotiate, execute, and manage strategic agreements, including Long-Term Agreements (LTAs), to support the company’s strategic direction.
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a similar field with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Supply Chain Management, or a Master’s degree with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge and experience in procurement and supplier management, including working understanding of AS9100 standards and engineering data such as specifications and source control drawings.
- Experience with negotiating and managing multiple contract types, including Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Time and Material (T&M), and cost type (CPFF, CPIF).
- Understanding and knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).
