Job Summary: We are searching for a skilled professional to manage procurement and supplier relationships for critical spaceflight systems. Our team values expertise in driving negotiations, prioritizing program requirements, and ensuring the timely delivery of materials vital to the organization’s mission.
Responsibilities:
- Lead suppliers and internal teammates in supporting the external development of spaceflight systems.
- Prepare and issue Requests for Proposal/Requests for Quote, perform price analyses, and develop negotiation strategies.
- Construct various contract types for major procurement activities, including long-range procurement agreements and sourcing partnerships.
- Take ownership of the entire procurement process from requisition creation through invoice payment and resolve any issues within the process.
Required:
- Proven experience in procurement and supplier management, including managing multiple contract types: Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Time and Material (T&M), and cost-type contracts (CPFF, CPIF).
- Working understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and AS9100 standards.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to establish and track program metrics.
- Excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines, multi-task, and prioritize workload.
