Job Title: Buyer I
Location: South Milwaukee, WI
Responsibilities:
- Manage and deliver purchase orders for raw materials and production support activities promptly.
- Address procurement, quality, invoice, and inventory issues, utilizing SAP for transactions.
- Analyze part consumption behaviour and other part characteristics.
- Collaborate with customer service, suppliers, Product Engineering, and Production to ensure excellent customer support.
Required Skills:
- 1-3 years of experience in purchasing or procurement.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Strong ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Experience with procurement software or ERP systems.
- Familiarity with contract management and supply chain logistics.
