Job Responsibilities:
- Guide Medicaid-eligible individuals and families through the HIPP/Premium Assistance program via phone or correspondence.
- Verify and document existing health coverage for Medicaid recipients and their dependents.
- Assist in identifying members eligible for HIPP/Premium Assistance.
- Collect and verify necessary documents for eligibility, such as insurance policies and employment verification.
- Maintain active case files during enrollment cycles and manage premium reviews and payments.
- Process and track premium payments, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies.
Skills Required:
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of health insurance and related terminology.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
