Job Title: Construction Manager
Location: Phoenix, AZ – (Hybrid:60% office-based, 40% fieldwork)
Responsibilities:
- Create work packages for vendors and coordinate construction schedules.
- Communicate with vendors and inspectors to resolve field issues and ensure timely project completion.
- Manage project financials, including purchase orders and contractor invoices.
- Develop progress reports and track project milestones.
- Provide administrative support and assist with ad hoc reporting requests.
- Update company tools and attend cross-functional team meetings.
Skills Required:
- Proficiency in project management and small cell/node construction.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and communicate effectively.
- Experience with fiber and small cell construction drawings and design.
- Knowledge of OSP fiber construction and node/power installation.
- Strong computer skills, including MS Office, SmartSheets, and Excel.
- Understanding of construction management processes and budget development.
- Exposure to heavy equipment and environmental conditions during fieldwork
- Travel to NV and NM may be required.
Education/Certifications:
- High School diploma required.
- Valid driver’s license.
- OSHA 10 certification preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years in telecommunications/wireless construction.
- Familiarity with Outside Plant Construction techniques and Small Cell Construction.
