Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of construction projects, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and cost objectives are met
- Manage client relationships, proposals, contracts, subcontractors, and project documentation to ensure project success
- Develop project plans, schedules, cost estimates, and critical objectives, and execute them effectively
- Conduct project risk reviews, participate in contract negotiations, and implement project execution plans
- Review project budgets, cash flow forecasts, and status reports, and communicate with stakeholders
- Coordinate engineering deliverables, contract administration, materials management, and project closeout processes
- Mentor and train construction personnel, provide performance feedback and manage resources efficiently
Top Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access)
- Experience with project management software, document control, scheduling, and cost control
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Familiarity with construction industry standards and practices
- Basic understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Experience and Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, with 7 years of relevant project management experience, or applicable experience substituting for the degree requirement
- Experience in aviation, commercial, energy, government, manufacturing, oil & gas, process, transportation, transmission & distribution, or water industries is preferred
- Ability to meet the company’s driving requirements
