Job Title: Contract Manager – Major Power Construction Projects
Location: Houston, Texas (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead end-to-end contract development, negotiation, and execution for major power construction projects. Our team values precision and strategic leadership in managing high-value vendor and contractor agreements within the energy sector.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development, drafting, negotiation, and execution of large-scale construction contracts, amendments, and agreements for natural gas and power infrastructure projects.
- Analyze contract terms for risk, regulatory compliance, and alignment with project deliverables; recommend strategies to safeguard organizational interests.
- Monitor and track contract performance, manage change orders and disputes, and ensure corrective actions are implemented as needed to meet project goals.
- Collaborate across project, procurement, legal, engineering, and finance teams to support vendor selection, post-award administration, and preparation of executive-level reports and presentations.
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, Finance, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certification (CPCM, NCMA) preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive contract analysis/management experience, including at least 3-5 years overseeing contracts within the energy, oil/gas, or large construction sectors.
- Experience with EPC contract drafting, negotiation, and execution for large-scale “Mega Projects.”
- Strong financial acumen to analyze and report on contract cash flow scenarios and risks.
