Job Title: Data Analyst IV
Location: Owings Mills Maryland
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior management, technical teams, and clients to understand data requirements and devise effective data implementation strategies.
- Develop logical and physical database descriptions, ensuring smooth implementation and efficient management.
- Design, implement, automate, and maintain large-scale enterprise data ETL processes, optimizing data workflows for maximum efficiency.
- Lead modification efforts for existing databases and database management systems, ensuring seamless integration of changes.
- Conduct thorough testing of programs and databases, identifying and rectifying errors to uphold data accuracy and reliability.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, or related discipline.
- 8-10 years of relevant experience in database management and data analysis.
- Proficiency in SQL for querying, coding, reporting, and data extraction, with a strong understanding of database integration.
- Experience with data reporting, reconciliation, and cleansing techniques.
- Proven expertise in comparing data sources and implementing effective data reconciliation strategies.
- Familiarity with Oracle and DB2 is preferred but not required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a proactive approach to team collaboration.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a track record of success in delivering data-driven insights.
- Passion for working with data and driving better business decisions through informed analysis.
