Job Title: Data Architect
Location: Remote
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled professional to design and implement scalable data extraction and transformation solutions for our client’s AWS Lakehouse environment. Our team values technical expertise and the ability to drive collaborative design and implementation of robust architectures that meet strict data entitlement requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Work with project and cross-functional teams to build architectural designs for scalable and robust ETL processes from on-premises data sources to AWS Lakehouse.
- Design and implement solutions using the client’s proprietary data modeling tool to transform data into the desired model, ensuring stringent data entitlement compliance.
- Create and maintain architectural diagrams and comprehensive technical documentation.
- Lead design review sessions, clearly articulate design rationale, and incorporate feedback for continuous improvement while guiding development teams through implementation.
Required:
- Proven experience as a Data Architect, Solutions Architect, or Senior Data Engineer with a strong focus on data pipeline design.
- Hands-on experience using ALLOY / PURE data modeling tools to design and implement data models and data entitlement.
- Strong communication skills and ability to discuss topics in both business and technical contexts.
- Snowflake experience is considered a plus.
