Job Title: Data Center Technician
Location: Hagerstown, Maryland (On-Site)
Job Summary: Our team is seeking a dedicated professional to operate and maintain critical infrastructure in a dynamic data center environment. We focus on ensuring maximum availability and reliability while adhering to industry best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain critical and non-critical infrastructure, equipment, and systems in the data center.
- Collaborate with a team of Critical Facilities Technicians to ensure maximum availability of the data center while minimizing risks.
- Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to manage planned and unplanned data center work.
- Respond to electrical and mechanical issues in the data center, minimizing risk and effectively communicating issues to the appropriate chain of command.
Required:
- 5-7 years of experience in relevant fields.
- Prior military or technical school training, preferred.
- 1-3+ years' experience in Mission Critical Environments, preferred.
- Electrical or mechanical license, preferred.
