Job Title: Data Engineer
Location: Cincinnati, (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are representing a company seeking a skilled Data Engineer to help design, build, and support scalable data solutions in a complex enterprise environment. This position plays a key role in enabling trusted data for reporting, advanced analytics, machine learning, and operational decision-making.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable batch and real-time data pipelines.
- Integrate structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data from internal and external sources.
- Build reusable data products, services, and frameworks that support analytics, reporting, and machine-learning use cases.
- Implement data-quality checks, validation rules, reconciliation processes, monitoring, and production support activities.
Required:
- Experience working for a large retail or e-commerce company
- Must be local to Cincinnati, Ohio
- Three or more years of professional experience in data engineering with strong SQL and Python skills
- Experience designing and maintaining ETL or ELT pipelines in an enterprise environment, along with relational databases, data warehouses, data lakes, and/or lakehouse platforms.
- Knowledge of dimensional modeling, data architecture, data-integration patterns, cloud-based data platforms and services
