Job Title: Data Scientist
Location: Remote (West Coast time zone preferred)
Job Summary:
Join our team as a Data Scientist, where you’ll enhance the performance assessment of combination products. You’ll be responsible for developing and managing digital modeling and simulation assets, using advanced techniques to drive improvements in drug delivery systems.
Job Responsibilities:
• Develop and manage digital modeling and simulation assets to assess product performance.
• Utilize in-silico, first-principles, and data-driven modeling techniques.
• Analyze combination product performance to support decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement modeling insights.
• Document and present technical findings and recommendations.
• Drive innovation in drug delivery devices like Pre-Filled Syringes and Auto-Injectors.
Skills Required:
• Proficiency in FEM using software like ABAQUS, LS-Dyna, ANSYS, or COMSOL.
• Experience with Python, MATLAB, or C++ for programming.
• Knowledge of Monte Carlo simulations and uncertainty quantification.
• Familiarity with Git-based version control and CI/CD practices.
• Strong analytical skills for deriving insights from simulation results.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Basic Qualifications:
• Ph.D. in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering, or
• Master’s degree with 2 years of relevant experience, or
• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of relevant experience.
