Job Title: Data Scientist
Location: Northborough, Massachusetts (Hybrid)
Job Summary: We are seeking a results-driven professional to support the development of scalable data foundations for reporting, analytics, and future AI initiatives. Our team values innovation and collaboration, aiming to enable reliable and efficient analytics across business operations.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement data pipelines to ingest data from APIs into centralized databases.
- Develop and maintain structured analytical datasets, integrating legacy SQL Server data with new API-based sources to support consistent reporting.
- Establish data validation, quality checks, and optimize data models for performance and reporting efficiency.
- Collaborate with analytics and AI teams, document data models, and manage recurring data refresh processes to ensure dataset accuracy and timely updates.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering) and 4–6 years of hands-on experience.
- Experience supporting Power BI or similar BI tools, including building models optimized for reporting performance.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, including writing complex queries and designing relational schemas, with proven experience maintaining relational databases or analytical data warehouses.
- Hands-on experience building and managing data pipelines using APIs, proficiency in Python or similar languages for data ingestion and transformation, and understanding of ETL/ELT concepts and semi-structured data handling.
