Job Title: Data Scientist – Simulation & Modeling

About the Role:
- Join our team as a Data Scientist specializing in simulation and modeling. You’ll design and implement simulation frameworks to enhance enterprise solutions. Ideal candidates have a background in inventory models and stochastic processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deploy simulation models for inventory and operations using Python, SQL, and PySpark.
- Utilize probability theory and Monte Carlo methods to address uncertainty.
- Work with data teams to define inputs and integrate simulation pipelines.
- Apply CI/CD practices and manage code with GitHub Enterprise.
- Validate models with historical data and perform sensitivity analysis.
- Ensure code quality and scalability in production settings.
Skills Required:
- Experience in simulation modeling and inventory systems.
- Proficient in Python, SQL, and PySpark.
- Strong grasp of probability theory and Monte Carlo simulation.
- Familiarity with Databricks or similar cloud platforms.
- Knowledge of CI/CD practices and GitHub Enterprise.
- Independent worker with a proactive approach.
Preferred Skills:
- Background in retail, supply chain, or operations research.
- Experience with cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP.
