Job Title: DBT Developer
Location: Remote
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced developer to lead the implementation of DBT projects for this organization. Our team values hands-on expertise and a strong understanding of modern data practices to drive impactful outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the hands-on development of DBT workflows and core concepts to support business-critical data initiatives.
- Design and implement robust data modeling solutions and establish best practices for modular and reusable code.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure data warehousing principles and cloud platform strategies are seamlessly integrated.
- Maintain code quality and integrity by applying version control using tools such as Git.
Required:
- Advanced, hands-on experience with DBT (Data Build Tool), typically demonstrated by 6-9 years of relevant project-based work.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and proven expertise in data modeling at an intermediate or higher level (3-5 years experience).
- Experience working with Snowflake platforms and applying DevOps concepts (each at an intermediate level, 3-5 years experience).
- Demonstrated ability to write modular, reusable, and tested code as well as familiarity with version control tools, particularly Git.
