Job Title: Developer – Software Engineer
Location: North Hollywood, California (On-site)
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced professional to support our Python/ROS2-based system development leveraging commercial off-the-shelf hardware. Our team is dedicated to advancing technology with a focus on both software development and integration of cutting-edge hardware in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Support development, provisioning, and checkout of complex Python/ROS2-based systems utilizing COTS hardware.
- Develop and update device drivers to maintain and enhance optimal system performance.
- Implement provisioning process improvements through automation and scripting efforts.
- Conduct software testing and troubleshooting on testbeds and electronics hardware to ensure system reliability and performance enhancements.
Required:
- Proficiency in C/C++ for embedded, RTOS, or Linux environments and strong Python skills for tools or automation.
- Strong experience with Git and collaborative development workflows.
- Solid understanding of ROS/ROS2, instrumentation/control systems, driver and platform debugging, concepts of data acquisition/measurement theory, or debugging auto-generated code.
- Demonstrated strong troubleshooting and debugging abilities in fast-paced environments.
