Job Title: Device Engineer
Location: Thousand Oaks, California (Hybrid)
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled professional to support the development and lifecycle management of drug delivery devices. Our team values technical excellence and collaboration to advance innovative technologies within a regulated environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct hands-on experimental testing to support investigations and root cause analysis of medical device performance.
- Develop, execute, and refine test procedures, analyze test data, and apply statistical methods to generate actionable insights and recommendations.
- Generate and maintain technical documentation including design specifications, protocols, reports, and design history files for devices.
- Coordinate and implement design improvements with internal teams and external partners, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
Required:
- Master's degree, or Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience, or Associate degree with 6 years of experience, or high school diploma / GED with 8 years of experience.
- Laboratory testing experience with combination products and medical devices, including proficiency in experimental methods and data analysis.
- Strong problem-solving skills, organization, and effective communication across functional groups.
- Working familiarity with Quality System Regulation (21CFR820), Risk Management (ISO 14971), and maintaining technical records within regulated environments.
