Job Title: Electrical Design and Analysis Engineer
Location: El Segundo, California (Hybrid)
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled professional to support advanced ASIC and FPGA verification work within a dynamic electronics team. This position plays a key part in developing robust test environments, improving design confidence, and helping deliver high-performance digital solutions across critical programs.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement ASIC/FPGA verification environments using SystemVerilog, SystemVerilog Assertions, and UVM.
- Develop self-checking, reusable test benches, including drivers, monitors, predictors, and scoreboards.
- Create functional coverage models, perform code coverage analysis, and support regression testing and coverage tracking.
- Collaborate with design and systems engineering teams to align verification strategies with project goals and support FPGA-based prototyping and validation.
Required:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or equivalent non-US qualifications relevant to the job description.
- Proven experience in ASIC/FPGA verification processes.
- Experience defining architectural frameworks for ASIC/FPGA verification using SystemVerilog/UVM, including delivery and release of production designs.
- Proficiency in SystemVerilog and SystemVerilog Assertions, with a strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming principles, test plan implementation, functional coverage, code coverage closure, waveform debug tools, revision control systems, and Linux environments.
