Job Title: Electrical Design and Analysis Engineer
Location: El Segundo, California (Hybrid)
Job Summary: We are supporting an opportunity for an Electrical Design and Analysis Engineer focused on the integration, verification, and validation of FPGA- and system-on-chip-based products in a hardware laboratory environment. Our team is looking for someone who can translate requirements into test plans, execute on-target testing, and help drive clear technical documentation and problem resolution across multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, review, and execute requirements-based verification and validation procedures for FPGA- and SoC-based hardware.
- Perform on-target testing, hardware bring-up, and laboratory troubleshooting using engineering and production-representative hardware.
- Configure test setups and use laboratory equipment to verify digital interfaces, identify anomalies, and support root-cause analysis.
- Document test methods, procedures, results, discrepancies, and verification evidence while supporting cross-functional engineering teams.
Required:
- Bachelor of Science degree or higher from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology, computer science, mathematics, physics, or a related technical field, or equivalent non-U.S. qualifications.
- Experience with FPGA/SOC technologies, digital hardware, or embedded computing architectures in a hardware laboratory environment.
- Experience developing and executing requirements-based verification or validation tests, troubleshooting digital hardware, FPGA-based systems, or embedded electronics, and documenting test plans, test procedures, test results, discrepancies, and technical conclusions.
- Ability to interpret hardware, FPGA, interface, and system requirements and develop corresponding test procedures, communicate technical information clearly, and work effectively with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
