Job Title: Electrical Engineer
Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (On-Site) with 50% Travel to Columbus OH
Job Summary: We are recruiting for an exciting opportunity supporting complex electrical engineering work tied to critical infrastructure and operational reliability. This position offers the chance to contribute to power system design, project execution, and cross-functional collaboration on solutions that help improve performance, safety, and long-term efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and optimize electrical systems and power distribution networks supporting critical infrastructure.
- Support advanced technologies, including automation, real-time monitoring, and energy storage, to improve performance and reduce operating costs.
- Provide technical expertise in power distribution, electrical schematics, and system layouts for new construction and facility upgrades.
- Participate in complex engineering projects from concept to completion while aligning with business goals, timelines, budgets, safety, and regulatory standards.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Electrical engineer coming from a power background would stand out (Good to have)
- Manager would be interested in candidates coming from other Power companies.
- Demonstrated excellent organizational and interpersonal skills with safety as a main priority.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and PC skills.
- Knowledge of reviewing arc flash studies and implementing improvements; working knowledge of electrical design codes such as NEC OR National Electric Codes.
