Job Title: Electrical Engineer
Location: Rancho Cordova, California (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are seeking a talented electrical engineering professional to support technical deliverables tied to modifications and upgrades at existing hydroelectric generating plants. Our team is looking for someone who can bring advanced engineering analysis, strong project coordination, and a commitment to quality to complex power generation work.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and modify technical deliverables for plant modifications and upgrades at existing hydroelectric generating facilities.
- Apply advanced engineering techniques and analyses to complex engineering problems with minimal supervision.
- Prepare complex engineering calculations, research equipment and materials, and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Coordinate project tasks, manage assigned budget, schedule, and quality requirements, and support multidisciplinary collaboration.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized accredited program.
- Minimum of 5 years of related work experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in hydro or fossil power generation plant design.
- Familiarity with NFPA 70 and the California Electrical Code.
- Experience with power system analysis software such as SKM or ETAP is a plus.
- PE license is preferred.
