Job Title: Electrical Engineer
Location: Austin, Texas (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced engineering professional to support custom, high-visibility solutions that help enable the sale of standard products through tailored system design. Our team is looking for someone who can bridge customer requirements, technical design, and deployment while supporting large-scale turnkey engineering efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Gather requirements and develop specification documents, statements of work, and Bills of Materials.
- Define and manage project plans, milestones, reviews, and deployment readiness activities.
- Specify, design, prototype, test, and deploy turnkey automated solutions.
- Work with customers, sales personnel, engineering teams, alliance partners, and contract manufacturers to sustain custom solutions.
Required:
- B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, or Electronics Engineering Technology.
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant industry experience in a Hardware Systems Design role or a Test Engineering Design role.
- US Person status only, with the ability to work on ITAR projects and qualify for DoD clearances.
- Strong understanding of electrical engineering, electronics, and computer architectures.
- Understanding of high-level programming languages, including LabVIEW, TestStand, C/C++, and C#
- Hands on use of NI Hardware Platforms and Instrument
- Must have LabVIEW / Test Stand experience
- Demonstrated understanding of measurement error, instrumentation selection, schematics and wiring diagrams, hardware/software integration, BOM creation and review, CAD and PCB design tools, and statistical analysis of data such as Cp, Cpk, and GR&R.
