Job Title: Electrical Engineer 6
Location: Overland Park, Kansas (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are partnering with this company to present an exciting opportunity for a highly capable engineering professional who can contribute to large-scale, client-facing design work in a fast-paced environment. We are seeking someone who can help deliver detailed technical solutions, collaborate across project teams, and support critical design efforts that demand precision, adaptability, and strong communication.
Responsibilities:
- Lead detailed design efforts for large-scale data center environments while following company, client, and project design requirements.
- Work closely with engineering project teams and field personnel to complete and review projects against scope, budget, and schedule.
- Conduct field surveys, prepare drawings, review technical documentation, and support engineering studies and reports.
- Provide guidance on design risk factors, mentor junior staff, and coordinate with internal and external clients to define project requirements.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering from a recognized accredited program in the home country or the country of professional practice.
- Minimum of 11 years of related work experience.
- Required – Previous experience with hyperscale Data Centers of at least 40 MW.
- Advanced knowledge of engineering design principles and applicable design guides and standards related to the assigned engineering discipline.
- Professional registration or licensure in the designated home office country, or active pursuit of registration/licensure, where required by the nature of the work.
