Job Title: Electrical Pre-Construction Designer/Specialist
Location: Kansas City, Missouri (On-site)
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced professional to play a key role in shaping electrical construction projects from the ground up. Our team values technical excellence and practical field experience to ensure high-quality pre-construction design and execution.
Responsibilities:
- Develop electrical pre-construction designs and detailing for conduit, cable tray, and overhead raceway layouts.
- Interpret vendor drawing submittals and engineered drawing deliverables, including P&ID’s.
- Collaborate across all construction disciplines and supervise field construction personnel.
- Utilize applications such as Microsoft Suite and Bluebeam for design and documentation tasks.
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in electrical field installation or applicable design/detailing.
- Experience as an electrical journeyman preferred; oversight of raceway planning, conduit sizing, and fill requirements is essential.
- Strong understanding of NFPA 70 and ability to read and interpret construction and vendor drawings.
