Job Title: Electrician
Location: Sparks Glencoe, Maryland (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are recruiting for an Electrician opportunity supporting a multi-building facility environment with a strong focus on safety, reliability, and operational excellence. Our team is presenting an opportunity for an Electrician to contribute to preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and responsive repairs that help keep critical operations running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and equipment in accordance with the National Electrical Code and local building codes.
- Perform preventative maintenance and inspections on electrical components, including transformers, switchgear, and circuit breakers.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components using advanced testing equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics; respond to emergency service calls and maintain accurate records of work completed.
Required:
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent vocational training.
- At least 3-5 years of experience as a commercial or industrial electrician.
- In-depth knowledge of the National Electrical Code and local building codes.
- Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical schematics.
- Experience with electrical testing and diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to perform work in compliance with company, client, and governmental safety regulations.
