Job Title: Electrician
Location: New Albany, Ohio (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled professional to support critical electrical systems in a regulated, high-performance environment. Our team is partnering with this company to present an opportunity where reliable maintenance, safety, and collaboration are essential to keeping operations running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, motors, VFDs, controllers, control panels, UPS systems, generators, and transfer equipment.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical assets in line with CMMS work orders and SOPs, while responding to reactive service requests as needed.
- Support electrical systems in GMP manufacturing, laboratory, warehouse, and cleanroom environments while maintaining required documentation for regulated spaces.
- Follow site safety and compliance requirements, including LOTO, arc flash practices, job hazard analyses, and local, state, and federal electrical codes.
Required:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 3–5 years of commercial or industrial electrical experience required.
- Experience with electrical distribution systems and controls, plus the ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and one-line diagrams.
- Working knowledge of NEC, OSHA, and NFPA standards, along with basic computer skills and comfort using CMMS systems.
- Preferred: journeyman electrician license or equivalent experience, plus experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, GMP, or regulated manufacturing environments.
- Preferred: experience supporting critical facilities, laboratories, or cleanrooms, and familiarity with UPS, generators, ATS, and emergency power systems.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, work at heights, access confined spaces, work extended hours or respond to emergencies as needed, and wear appropriate PPE.
