Job Title: Software Engineer
Location: Austin, Texas (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are presenting an exciting opportunity for a Software Engineer to contribute to embedded and driver software products within a collaborative product team. We are seeking a technically strong professional who can help deliver high-quality features, strengthen code quality, and support innovative software development in an agile environment.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver product features through research, design, development, and documentation efforts.
- Collaborate with product architects, product managers, and software engineers on design discussions and code architecture.
- Specify, design, implement, and troubleshoot product features and defects.
- Develop tests, peer review code changes, and contribute to agile team activities including standups, backlog reviews, retrospectives, and brainstorming sessions.
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or a similar field.
- 5+ years of software development experience.
- Object oriented programming experience and proficiency in C++.
- Experience working with Windows and Linux OS drivers.
- Familiarity with embedded, kernel or low level hardware/software integration
- Experience with testing frameworks.
- Understanding of operating system components and design, embedded, kernel, or low level hardware/software integration, data structures, Agile methodology, and testing frameworks.
- Demonstrated ability to problem-solve effectively, take initiative, work independently, drive tasks to completion, learn quickly, and work with strong attention to technical detail.
