Job Title: Engineer
Location: Thousand Oaks, California (Onsite)
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled professional to support packaging engineering initiatives within our clinical and platform division. Our team is dedicated to ensuring the reliable design, qualification, and implementation of packaging components and systems for regulated combination products.
Responsibilities:
- Lead testing and evaluation to recommend and select primary and secondary packaging materials.
- Develop and execute test protocols, conduct technical evaluations, and author reports supporting material and component qualifications.
- Create technical specifications and engineering drawings using AutoCAD, Illustrator, or similar software applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support line trials, packaging validation activities, and commercial readiness for new or changed components and processes.
Experience/Minimum Requirements:
- Demonstrated regulatory compliance experience in an engineering or technical field.
- Proven ability to design and qualify packaging components and systems, including material testing standards knowledge.
- Strong organizational, project management, and technical problem-solving skills in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.
- Master's degree OR Bachelor's degree plus at least 2 years of experience OR Associate degree plus at least 6 years of experience OR high school diploma/GED plus at least 8 years of experience.
