Job Title: Engineer
Location: Thousand Oaks, California (On-site)
Job Summary: We are seeking motivated professionals to drive process development initiatives focused on parenteral drug products. Our team values individuals who excel in hands-on laboratory environments and have the ability to support critical visual inspection and characterization activities.
Responsibilities:
- Support ongoing hands-on lab-based development in visual inspection process development, including maintenance of defect standards, panels, and the establishment of GMP procedures related to operations.
- Implement and document off-line and on-site drug product characterization studies and contribute to the development of process technology transfer documents.
- Participate in cross-functional teams, collaborating effectively in a matrixed environment to advance process design and efficiency for drug products.
- Assist senior staff with project definition, engineering studies, and field evaluations to provide technical recommendations for automation system installations.
Required:
- Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of engineering and/or operations experience or Associate’s degree and at least 4 years of engineering and/or operations experience or high school diploma/GED and at least 6 years of engineering and/or operations experience.
- Proven experience with visual inspections in pharmaceutical or biotechnology settings.
- Expertise in defect standard creation and familiarity with biosafety lab aseptic technique.
- Hands-on laboratory or pilot plant experience with process equipment and GMP documentation.
