Job Title: Engineer
Location: Salt Lake City, Utah (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are seeking a talented professional to join our team focused on testing and evaluating electromechanical medical devices. Our team plays a vital role in ensuring product reliability and performance throughout the product lifecycle within a highly collaborative R&D environment.
Responsibilities:
- Test and evaluate electromechanical medical devices to identify product limits and improvements throughout the lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain test protocols and plans, including environmental, shock, vibration, reliability, and ingress testing.
- Conduct root cause analysis on failures observed during testing and participate in engineering design reviews and investigations.
- Design and develop test fixture solutions and ensure all work is completed in compliance with established guidelines and quality systems.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in an engineering field, with experience in testing preferred.
- Ability to perform engineering activities within the realm of test and reliability engineering.
- Experience in developing testing protocols using industry concepts, SOPs/WIDs, and performing design verification and validation testing throughout the development cycle.
