Job Title: Engineering Manager
Location: Nashville, Tennessee (On-site)
Job Summary: We seek a dynamic leader who will actively engage with engineering teams to deliver digital solutions that drive real value for the business. Our team focuses on engineering excellence and innovation across multiple high-visibility projects, ensuring outcomes that delight customers and support organizational goals.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions, fostering a culture of engineering excellence and accountability for results.
- Promote and support technical advocacy, ensuring planning, code integrity, technical quality, and alignment with business and customer objectives.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, experience, delivery, infrastructure, and security teams to integrate diverse perspectives and optimize product delivery.
- Drive agile, lean, and iterative engineering practices, resolving impediments and continuously improving team velocity and product quality.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or related discipline (advanced degree preferred but not required; relevant experience emphasized).
- Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience with programming languages such as Angular, React, NodeJS, Python, Streamlit, C#, .NET Core, Golang, SQL/NoSQL, and unit testing frameworks, with at least 5 years managing engineering teams.
- At least 5 years of experience in cloud-native engineering on Azure using FaaS, PaaS, or micro-services; experience with AI/ML and GenAI preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in Agile methodologies, DevSecOps, modern software engineering practices, and effective interpersonal and organizational skills.
