Job Title: Equipment & Tool Engineer
Location: Remote
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and modify aerospace manufacturing equipment and tooling to meet stakeholder needs.
- Research and integrate robotics, automation, and new technologies for equipment and tooling.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop bids and procurement specifications.
- Plan and manage the acquisition and modification of equipment and tooling.
- Develop testing and acceptance procedures to validate equipment performance.
- Create documentation, preventative maintenance plans, and provide training as needed.
Essential Skills Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and office computing systems.
- Experience with Model-Based Definition, CATIA, ENOVIA, and PDM is a plus.
- Familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively.
Education & Experience:
- Typically requires advanced technical education in engineering or related fields, with 9+ years of relevant experience. ABET accreditation is preferred but not mandatory.
