Job Title: Experience Designer
Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (On-site)

Job Summary: We are seeking a resource who will support our customer-facing and employee-facing design systems, driving the evolution and efficiency of a large-scale digital platform. Our team values collaboration with content, accessibility, and development teams, and we focus on continuously enhancing our widely used online experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and update documentation and graphics for design system documentation, including specifications for developers and teams.
  • Build, refine, and test Figma components and collaborate with content and accessibility partners to ensure design quality and compliance.
  • Participate in and facilitate open office hours, design reviews, governance meetings, and collaborative working sessions across product design groups.
  • Conduct competitive analysis, research, and prepare topics for governance while providing support through answering help desk inquiries and special projects as needed.

Required:

  • Design system experience, including using and ideally contributing to or maintaining design systems; familiarity with building/maintaining component libraries or design systems strongly preferred.
  • Expertise in Figma (especially creation of components), along with experience in Jira, Confluence, and Adobe suite tools.
  • Strong background in product, UI, and UX design, combined with business communication skills, critical thinking, and a systems-thinking mindset.
  • Portfolio link required for consideration, prior experience in collaborative environments and presentation/facilitation experience needed.
