Job Title: Facilities Manager
Location: Alexander City, Alabama (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are recruiting for an opportunity to join a facilities leadership team focused on keeping multiple locations operating smoothly, safely, and efficiently. We are looking for a professional who can coordinate service delivery, support budgets and reporting, and build strong working relationships with vendors, property managers, and landlords.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day facilities operations across multiple locations, including coordination of vendors, contractors, and building technicians.
- Support short- and long-term planning, reporting, budgeting, forecasts, and variance analysis aligned to client needs.
- Help drive service quality, compliance, and client satisfaction by managing work assignments and ensuring policies are followed.
- Identify operational issues, support capital and expense planning, and contribute to practical solutions that improve facility performance.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Facilities Management with management or technical emphasis.
- At least 5 years of industry experience in a corporate environment, third-party service provider, or consulting setting.
- Strong leadership, management, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage both technical and administrative staff and work effectively with vendors and contractors.
- Proficiency in MS programs such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, plus computer proficiency in CMMS systems.
- Experience working in facilities management with responsibility for operations and maintenance of buildings, building systems, and equipment.
