Job Title: Facilities Technician
Location: Toledo, Ohio (On-site)
Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to support operation, inspection, and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and kitchen equipment in assigned facilities. Our team values proactive problem-solving and hands-on support to maintain a safe, efficient work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the operations team in maintenance and repair of building systems and equipment, including general interior maintenance tasks.
- Perform tasks such as HVAC/R coil cleaning, kitchen equipment maintenance, and minor plumbing repairs as needed.
- Maintain lighting system bulbs and ballasts and complete special tasks, including painting, locksmith work, and fulfilling tenant service requests.
- Participate in ongoing technical, safety, and operational process training programs, document work performed, and be available for after-hours emergencies as required.
Required:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent and Class B UST Certification.
- Valid state driver’s license, ability to lift a minimum of 80 lbs., and ability to use ladders up to 30 ft.
- At least one year of applicable experience in general building repair and maintenance, basic plumbing, and basic electrical work.
- Ability to pass background, drug/alcohol, and MVR screening treasure; completion of a technical training program is desirable.
