Job Title: Facilities Technician
Location: Swartz Creek, Michigan (On-site)
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled professional to support operations, inspection, and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and kitchen equipment in assigned facilities. Our team values individuals who can contribute to maintaining safe and efficient building systems while ensuring compliance with all safety procedures and policies.
Responsibilities:
- Assist operations in the maintenance and repair of building and kitchen equipment, including meat grinders, cubers, meat saws, and slicers.
- Perform minor plumbing repairs and maintain lighting systems, bulbs, and ballasts.
- Complete fuel center UST inspections and dispenser maintenance, and respond to on-call after-hours emergencies as needed.
- Troubleshoot and maintain equipment such as scanners, printers, scales, networks, server drives, and UPS equipment, while documenting work performance and material procurement.
Required:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid state driver’s license and ability to successfully pass background, drug/alcohol, and MVR screening processes.
- Minimum of one year of applicable work experience in general building repair, basic plumbing, and basic electrical tasks.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 80 lbs., use ladders up to 30 feet, and demonstrate mechanical and electrical aptitude.
