Job Title: Facilities Technician
Location: El Paso, Texas (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are recruiting for a Facilities Technician opportunity supporting the daily operation and maintenance of a multi-building campus environment. This role plays an important part in keeping building systems running safely, efficiently, and reliably while supporting high standards of professionalism and customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain refrigeration, water cooling and air conditioning equipment, boilers, heating, ventilating, hot water equipment, pumps, valves, piping, filters, and related mechanical and electrical systems.
- Oversee preventive maintenance, repairs, contractor activities, and routine building operations to help ensure safe and effective performance.
- Identify safety hazards, support compliance with regulatory requirements, and maintain building infrastructure and documentation, including drawings and single-lines.
- Support training efforts by demonstrating proper tool use, maintenance basics, safety practices, and troubleshooting procedures.
Required:
- 5+ years of facility-related work experience, including customer service, leadership, and supervisory experience.
- Valid HVAC and EPA certifications.
- Certification as a Universal Technician for CFCs
- Electrical certifications.
- Experience with CMMS systems, with Corrigo noted as the current system in use.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other computer applications used in facility operations.
- Experience with HVAC, fluid handling/pumping, fluid filtering, mechanical systems, welding, and electrical systems engineering and operation.
