Job Title: Facilities Technician
Location: Columbus, Ohio (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are partnering with this company to present an opportunity for a Facilities Technician supporting general maintenance across assigned buildings. Our team is seeking candidates who can help keep operations safe, secure, and well-maintained while handling HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and preventive maintenance tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor building conditions to help ensure a safe, secure, and well-maintained environment.
- Troubleshoot HVAC, power, controls, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical system issues.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, including lighting, carpentry, vendor support, and general facility repairs.
- Support daily building start-up activities and respond to miscellaneous maintenance needs, including fire pumps, boilers, elevators, compressors, and equipment movement.
Required:
- High school diploma or GED, plus two years of trades schooling in electrical system design, refrigeration, and HVAC.
- Universal Technician certification for CFCs.
- At least 4 years of related work experience in a commercial, industrial, or manufacturing environment, with emphasis on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or general building maintenance.
- At least 2 years of experience using CMMS and PM software programs and Building Automation Systems, including monitoring and evaluating RTU performance.
