Job Title: Facilities Technician
Location: Costa Mesa, California (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Facilities Technician to support the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of critical building systems. Our team is representing a role that combines hands-on technical work with strong problem-solving skills to help keep facility operations running safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility systems and equipment, with specialized focus across electrical, HVAC, piping, and plumbing functions.
- Analyze system issues using Building Automation Systems, blueprints, schematics, pressure readings, and airflow measurements to identify root causes.
- Perform preventive maintenance on HVACR and chiller systems, and complete daily start-up procedures for key building equipment and systems.
- Carry out miscellaneous facility repairs, including support for automatic doors, gates, material handling equipment, fire safety systems, emergency eyewash stations, painting, and hardware maintenance.
Required:
- Experience in industrial or commercial environments.
- HVAC experience or a Universal License.
- Strong understanding of HVAC fundamentals, including system components, electrical wiring, and refrigerant handling.
- Ability to maintain electrical systems, including low and medium voltage power distribution and lighting systems.
- Ability to install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems.
- Comfort with flexible scheduling as business needs require.
