Job Title: Field Communications Technician
Location: Katy, Texas (On-site)

Job Summary: We connect technical talent to dynamic projects supporting enterprise-level IT and operations teams. Our team values skilled professionals ready to drive field communications initiatives, ensuring reliability and performance across large-scale environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot a variety of communication systems and supporting infrastructure, including voice, data, SCADA, video, microwave, and satellite equipment.
  • Assist with project implementation and coordinate with contractors on local telecommunications system installations and maintenance.
  • Support and provide first-level training to field operations personnel, acting as a liaison between field teams and IT.
  • Deliver 24×7 on-call support, conduct preventative maintenance, and provide fault isolation and troubleshooting for telecommunications systems.

Required:

  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Electronics or 7 years of equivalent experience in the field of Electronics required.
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in installation and/or maintenance of telecommunications systems, including wireless data systems, SCADA, and LAN cabling systems.
  • Physical ability to work outdoors and drive a company-provided vehicle; valid TWIC card required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel, and the use of test equipment and software for telecommunications support.
